We lined the inside of his pack with a trash bag because we didn't have a cover for it. The pack held up great @ospreypacks

It's amazing how his hiking has progressed. He is definitely motivated by blasting bad guys and leading. What's not amazing is how thrilled he is in the pic.

Our NYE meal. Bison and sweet potato chili with veggies and fruit. It was a cold night but we made the best of it. Yurt camping at Sweetwater Creek. It was a great site on water next to the playground. The yurts were only heated by a small space heater which didn't help in 18°f weather. Looking forward to returning in the spring!

Cloudland Canyon has our hearts! Considered one of the best winter hikes, plenty of people of all ages hike the rim, waterfall and connecting trails.

If you are ever in North Georgia you HAVE to stop at @dillardhousega for the best country cooking around. Something for everyone!
